Vehicles should remain off the streets until the snowfall has ceased and the City maintenance crew has completed plowing the streets. Snow from driveways, sidewalks and parking lots should not be deposited on City streets. Property owners are responsible for the removal of snow from public sidewalks in front of their property.

Weed and Trash Control

If a complaint is filed or a violation is observed in reference to the City's code of ordinances. The Minumum Weed and Trash Ordinance, the Community Service Office, working for the Police Department, will issue the property owner a letter giving the owner ten days to correct the problem. If the problem is not alleviated within the ten day period, the property owner can be ticketed for a violation of the ordinance and will be required to appear in court. The minimum fine for this offense is fifty dollars.
